Jessica Rose Couture and Blinds Couture Hunter Douglas Room Darkening Shade Initiative

Is your wife a doctor? Or your best bud a nurse? Imagine them coming home from a hospital full of COVID-19 patients. Their 12-hour graveyard shift stretched to 16 hours because the hospital was short-handed. They were about to snore away to dreamland, but no matter how they try hiding under the sheets, the sunlight coming through their windows isn't helping at all. They just lie there, daydreaming about window treatments and a darkened room as the clock ticks to their next work shift.

How can you help?

Jessica Rose Couture , a home decor store (and more), that specializes in customs designs that are unique and suitable for each client, partners with their sister company Blinds Couture to initiate helping front-line healthcare workers and responders during the hard times of this pandemic.

With their resources at hand, Jessica Jenkins (founder and president), together with her team, have come up with ways to reach out and give comfort to our pandemic heroes. Jessica is married to a firefighter, that is why she is all too familiar with the daily strains that these workers are facing daily.

One struggle that they thought they could address is those heroic families having a hard time sleeping during the day. Darkening a bedroom is one of their specializations in their wide array of window treatments, and it's the perfect solution in preventing the disrupted slumber of our night owl workers.

Blinds Couture offers custom window treatments like the flat roman shades with blackout liner to help keep the light out. Their designer roller shades also boast over 300 fabrics you can choose from to find the perfect light control that a bedroom needs.

Today is the right time to get your exhausted and overwhelmed front-liner neighbor or friend the window treatments that their humble abode needs so that they can have a peaceful and uninterrupted sleep even during the day. Jessica Rose Couture and Blinds Couture, with Hunter Douglas ’ sponsorship, are with you in saying thank you to them by initiating a fund for window treatments to be used in installing darkening shades in the rooms of a nominated medical health worker.

They aim to promote a more sound and better sleep and ultimately improve the overall wellness of our modern heroes. They are worthy of all the help that we can provide as they risk their lives each day facing the invisible enemy.

You can nominate a nurse, doctor, or firefighter to be one of the recipients of this good cause. Together with Jessica Rose Couture and Blinds Couture, you can express how much you appreciate their effort and sacrifices by helping them get their good rest and sleep.

Avail of their affordable window treatments (window treatments approximately costs $700.00 each) and purchase a gift certificate for your colleague, and Jessica Jenkins' team will match the amount you spent and put it in the front-liner fund for their own window treatments. Donations are accepted only for NEW projects and not for in-progress projects.

We all can help as many health workers as we can if we come together as a community and make a little difference in their lives. Even by just giving them the best and stylish custom window treatments in Denver has to offer for them to have a restful and energizing sleep.

In late 2022, the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission announced it that, for reasons of safety, corded window coverings could longer be manufactured in the United States, beginning in June 2024. The window coverings industry and consumer demand has been slowly progressing in this direction since the early 2000s, with the advent of cordless blinds, motorized window coverings and smart home technology. With the 2022 announcement, this necessity for progress has dramatically accelerated, and manufacturers are sprinting to catch up.
