Pure silk, untreated cotton, and dark dyes fade quickly in high-altitude sun and should be avoided on south and west elevations without protective sheer layers.

Do you offer fade-resistant or UV-rated drapery linings?

Yes. Every Blinds Couture drapery is built with a lining selected for the room. Standard cotton sateen lining adds modest UV protection, blackout lining blocks light fully, and our specialty thermal and UV-block linings reduce fade and heat gain by 80 to 95 percent. Interlining is available for added body and insulation on north-facing or high-ceiling rooms.
