Local Custom Drapery Fabrication Raises The Bar on Customer Service for Interior Designers

In the world of interior design, attention to detail makes all the difference. Window coverings are a crucial element in achieving a polished look, often requiring custom fabrication of draperies and roman shades. With client’s satisfaction hinging on quality, timeliness and precision, working with a local drapery fabricator gives interior designers both peace of mind and finished product they can be proud of.  Let's take a deeper dive into the benefits of using a local drapery workroom for interior design projects.

The Art of Custom Drapery Fabrication

Working with a local drapery fabrication house brings a world of expertise to an interior design project, helping designers avoid fatal errors and delays. Colorado-based Roseworks Fabrication is a drapery workroom that specializes in supporting interior designers with unparalleled expertise in this area.

The Full Concierge Service

Not all drapery workrooms offer soup-to-nuts service, so look for those who measure windows and support the design process with fabric recommendations. They will fabricate and install, lifting the burden of coordinating and guaranteeing window coverings from the interior designer. Interior designers, builders, and home automation/AV specialists can all benefit from this comprehensive approach.

  1. Seamless Collaboration: Custom drapery experts work closely with design-build professionals to understand the project's requirements and design goals. They become an integral part of the interior design team, ensuring that the drapery integrates seamlessly with the project.
  2. Tailored Solutions: In-house fabrication allows for complete customization. Whether you need traditional draperies or anintegration with a home automation project, a fabrication workroom allows you to have them tailored to your exact specifications.
  3. Timely Delivery: With window measuring, fabric selection, fabrication and installation under one roof, you can expect quicker turnaround times and on-time delivery, keeping clients happy and projects on schedule.
  4. Quality Control: In-house fabrication means greater control over the quality of the drapery. You can trust that the final product will meet your high standards and those of your clients.
  5. Cost-Efficiency: While quality is a top priority, in-house fabrication can also be cost-effective in the long run. Fewer intermediaries and streamlined processes can lead to cost savings for your projects.

Happy Clients, Every Time

The attention to detail, personalized touch, and seamless collaboration of custom drapery that comes with choosing a fabrication workroom is a surefire path to client happiness and a game-changer for interior designers, builders, and home automation/AV specialists.

In late 2022, the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission announced it that, for reasons of safety, corded window coverings could longer be manufactured in the United States, beginning in June 2024. The window coverings industry and consumer demand has been slowly progressing in this direction since the early 2000s, with the advent of cordless blinds, motorized window coverings and smart home technology. With the 2022 announcement, this necessity for progress has dramatically accelerated, and manufacturers are sprinting to catch up.
